What helps animals to survive in their environment?
Animals have some basic needs! Without food, water, shelter, and oxygen animals (including you!) would not be able to survive. Animals' bodies end up shaping themselves to better meet their needs over time. For example, giraffes' necks getting longer and longer so that they could reach the leaves higher up. Animals also use mimicry, camouflage, migration, and hibernation in order to survive in their surroundings.
